You've been an inspiration to many, in ways - your career, friendship with Kevin Sinfield, campaigning for MND awareness, and the most gracious, dignified way you've lived with your illness. I’m so sorry for your huge loss. I’m a complete stranger but I have been deeply moved by Rob and his passing. MND is a cruel disease. I cared for my Mum who was diagnosed with MND in 2017 - she sadly died in June 2018. Words won’t take away the pain and grief but please accept my sincere condolences.

Sadly I have heard of Motor Neurone Disease as my father-in-law was lost to it many years ago . What Rob , his family and friends have done to keep MND in the public eye during the last 4 1/2 years is truly inspirational. My sincere condolences go to his family and friends. I'd never heard of Rob Burrow . But I certainly won't forget him xxx
